How far in advance should I order my dress?
Ideally six months. This gives you a good amount of time to ease into the process, schedule fittings and, most importantly, enjoy the experience.
Will I need to make an appointment?
Yes, please. This ensures we give each of our brides-to-be the time and commitment they deserve. So if you'd like to get something in the diary, give me a call or send me a message via the contact page.
How many fittings will I need?
While every bride is unique, we should be able to achieve your dream dress in four fittings. We may need more if I'm creating for you a couture dress from scratch. But there's no rush. We won't stop until everything is absolutely perfect.
How long are the fittings?
Around and hour. All we ask is that you arrive a little before each fitting, so that we can run through any questions you may have.
What should I take with me?
I recommend white or flesh-coloured underwear, including your bra. Even better if it's the actual undergarments you plan to wear on the day, including any shaping underwear. And if you've already got the shoes - perfect! If not, bring a pair with a similar heel height.
Who should I take with me?
One or two loved ones whose opinions you value.
Any more will be overwhelming.
What size are the samples?
They're a 10-12. But orders will be made to your precise measurements.
Will I be able to take photographs?
You can take as many pics as you like. Just try not to scrutinise them afterwards as it's all too easy to become self-critical when looking at images of yourself. Remember, you'll look dazzling on the day.
Can I remodel my dress after the wedding?
Absolutely. I'm all about breathing new life into dresses so that they can be enjoyed all over again.
Ethically, I think it's really important. But it's also immense fun. After all, who wouldn't want their wedding dress redesigned into another showstopper?
How much does it cost to remodel my dress?
That's the joy of it. I'm committed to sustainable fashion. So if you want your dress re-imagined- it won't cost you a penny more. And with so much time, energy and fabric poured into each creation, it's only fair they get to live more than one life.
